It has been a very exciting weekend because I was finally able to meet the person who saved my life, Carlos! Three years ago he agreed to be a potential bone marrow donor by getting on the marrow registry Bethematch.org, and within a year they called him into action to be my donor.
We encourage everyone to get a cheek swab through Bethematch.orgh because you never know if you may save a life! Thank you Carlos for the incredible unselfish act of kindness!
